----- Installing guide -----

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INTRODUCTIONS TO GET YOUR Reaction Quake 3 WORK PROPERLY!

1. Install Quake 3 into your computer.

2. Install Quake 3 Point Release 1.32.

(During this installation, the program will ask that do you want to install the Punkbuster -anticheat program. Punkbuster can be enabled in some servers so it's good to install it).

3. Install Reaction Quake 3.2

into your Quake 3 folder (ie. C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena). Make sure that all RQ3 files are installed to RQ3 folder (under Q3 folder).

To enable colors for your messages just write ^1(red)text, ^2(green)text, ^3(yellow)text and so on...
For example: bind 5 "radio right;say_team ^1Ri^2ght!"

You can start Reaction Quake 3 straight from your Quake 3 by adding +set fs_game rq3 to your Quake 3 shortcut.

When you start your Reaction Quake 3, there is a possible error occuring. If it says "Memory setting too low..." add seta com_hunkmegs "96" line to your q3config.cfg -file (located in Quake 3 Arena/rq3 -folder). To open q3config.cfg, right click the file and open it by using WordPad.

If you feel that your sniper rifle scope is too slow, add seta cg_RQ3_ssgZoomSensLock "0" -line to your q3config.cfg -file.

In some maps the sun may brighten your screen. Add seta cg_rq3_FlareIntensity "0" -line to your same config which Quake 3 executes when you start the game (for example q3config.cfg).

If you want to limit your FPS, add seta com_maxfps "number of FPS" -line to same configs.

The position of weapon can be edited with these simple commands: cg_gunx, cg_guny, cg_gunz. You can give value to these from -100 to 100. Ie. cg_gunY "4".

To execute your own configs, write /exec configName.cfg to Q3 console or to your q3config.cfg.

Game servers can be found with The All Seeing Eye or with RQ3's own game browser. Here are few addresses:

You can connect to these servers by writing /connect to Q3 console. To vote for kick or mapchange write /callvote kick or /callvote map REMEMBER. Votes are limited so use those with care.
